I FINALLY broke through after a long dry spell this season (ALL MY FAULT, too) down at Madras Dragstrip... . On Saturday after .014 & .013 lights I went -.008 red in a round I should have won... So left the track in 99 degree temps for the motel with the teenager & little girl to play in the pool. On Sunday the temp before the final was 104 degrees, DA was 5800, and the car ran four 9.64s in a row (1/8th mile). This is my 2nd win a row at this event and I was the only repeat winner.....

Thanks guys! Yeah, they're keepers Bob. Eric, the shirt is made out of rayon, fake silk, so it breathes very well. The ole t-shirt isn't good enough!

Wallys are nice. I got me another one a couple weeks ago with the trusty but crusty Olds. We got another on the line towards the end of September.

Congratulations Jerry, keep kicking ass!!!

Sweet Don. Where, Great Lakes? Did you post and I miss it? Of course, I'm not as close readin on here as I used to be. Hey, I did get torn into my transmission tonight! All that's left is the pump and what's behind it. All looked good so far. Waiting for my spring removal tool so I can take off the inner springs and then install cam and measure for pushrods.

Yeah Gooseman, Great Lakes. No, I didn't post it.

This was supposed to be the year for my dragster but the track is horrible and I have to figure out how to get my hard-tail rail down a shit track. It's not like I am making tons of power, the potato chip rail runs 8.80s in a DA of 3500. I'm starting to get a handle on things and hopefully it will be quicker and more consistent in the next couple of weeks.

I raced the Cutlass 6 times this year.......first time out was semi-finals, the rest were final rounds winning 3 of them. I know that hooptie like the back of my hand.
