Can you give any details please?
Engine size, comp. ratio, cam., exhaust system, tranny, rear ratio and tire size?

That's pretty damn good if it is not a gutted car!!! 8-)

Eric

Thanks Eric - Here are all the details. She's got power steering, power brakes and a full interior. Best run so far is 12.603 at 106.75 mph with a 1.834 60' time.

* 463 (.040 over 455), 10:1, ported iron C heads
* Keith Black hypereutectic pistons (KB277's)
* Erson JB100 hydraulic cam (228/235 @ .050, .504"/.504" lift, 112 LSA)
* Harland Sharp 1.6 shaft-mounted roller-tip rockers
* Edelbrock Performer
* RobbMc 550hp mechanical fuel pump
* Quadrajet; #73 jets, #47 rods and CC secondary rods
* 1 3/4" Hooker Competition headers
* 2 1/2" Flowmaster American Thunder mandrel-bent exhaust w/H-pipe
* Hooker Aerochamber mufflers
* TH350 w/TransGo 1-2 shift kit & Coan 11" Pro Street converter (3K stall)
* 8.5" GM 10-bolt w/Eaton posi & 3.42's
* 275/60-15 BFG drag radials
* 3950 lbs with driver & full tank of gas
* Runs on 92 octane with no spark knock and enough vacuum for power steering & brakes

My best run came with only 24 degrees of total timing. I had the A/F ratio tuned on a chassis dyno with 92 octane and it started to ping whenever timing was higher than 28 degrees (I double checked #1 TDC and my timing tab). Most 455's seem to like ~34 total, so that and my mph tell me there's more left in her. I plan to go back with a 50/50 mix of race fuel & premium to see what happens.
