Anyone know the front end weight of a '71 442 w/455? I'm trying to put together a suspension package.

actually, no. but if i had to guess, i would bet its in the neighborhood of 2300 lbs. my 69 Cutlass is right around 1900 lbs and i took a shitload of weight off to get there.

Your probably right. I'm looking at some QA1 shocks and they have some for 1900-2100lbs., and some for 2100-2300lbs. I'm guessing one is for small block and one is for big block?

what is on your car now ? ac, ps, iron heads, heavy 4-row copper radiator ? im thinking, unless you took weight off, you will want the heavier ones.

ps, no a/c, aluminum heads. Probably do want the heavy ones.
